ASPU  Board of Trustees held its 28^th  session on Saturday, 24/9/2022,  headed  by Chairman of the Board of Trustees Dr. Muhammad al-Jalali, who reviewed decisions  approved by  the previous session  and its achievements .

ASPU President Dr. Sharif al-Ashkar  noted  the most important decisions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Higher Education Council, besides  activities carried out by the university in all fields since the  convening the  council previous session, including preparations for the academic year 2022/2023. This was observed In proportion to ASPU status in the scientific field, and all necessary requirements, the students need.

The board members have discussed the university presidency’s proposals regarding the draft current and investment budget for 2022/2023, adoption of an organizational structure for the university and its employees, as well as the adoption of the draft discipline system, studying necessary matters related to students in particular and the university in general, and then approved appropriate decisions regarding debated issues.

 They stressed the need to provide everything necessary to start the new academic year, provide all the required facilities, and allocate all potentials to provide a scientific, administrative and social level worthy of the university’s position in order to achieve set goals.  ASPU board of trustees’ members expressed best wishes for a new academic year full of distinguished achievements and for Syria’s   security, stability and development at all levels.
