The Directorate of Legal Affairs and Contracts consists of the Contracts and Follow-up Section, the Cases and Legal Studies Section, the Contracts and Follow-up Section is formed from the Tenders and Contracting Division and the Follow-up Division, while the Legal Cases and Studies Section is formed from the Legal Consultations Division.
The Directorate of Legal Affairs and Contracts at the University undertakes the following tasks:
1- Providing legal advice to the university President and Rectors.
2- Presenting legal opinions to the university.
3- Preparing books of legal requirements related to tenders and auctions at the university.
4- Coordinating with other directorates to announce tenders and auctions.
5- Preparing draft contracts concluded between the university and contractors.
6- Coordinating with the university lawyer regarding cases filed by or against the university.
