The Scientific Society of Arab Faculties of Pharmacy has accepted ASPU in its membership in order to exchange experiences between ASPU faculties of pharmacy and Arab universities in the research and academic fields.

Such membership enables ASPU  to coordinate and develop academic curricula with the Faculties of Pharmacy in the Arab world and encourage cooperation in the fields of authoring, Arabization, publishing and coordination with scientific, service and research centers in the Faculties of Pharmacy in the Arab world in addition to encouraging the exchange of teaching, training and research experiences.

The “ Scientific Society of Arab Faculties of Pharmacy”  was established during the founding conference of the deans of the Faculties of Pharmacy in the Arab World at the invitation of the faculty of Pharmacy - University of Damascus in December, 1996. The conference was attended by 30 faculty deans from the following Arab countries: Jordan, Algeria, Sudan, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Kuwait, Lebanon, Egypt.
