The annual conference if the National Union of Syrian Students NUSS, ASPU branch held its annual conference under the slogan "Syrian students in universities and institutes as in fronts are steadfast and victors."

The conference was attended  by head  of the NUSS Special Education and Informatics office Ms. Darin Suleiman, ASPU President Dr. Yasser Hourieh students representatives of ASPU branches in Damascus and Lattakia and  deans of colleges, administrators and students.

The conference opened with a minute of silence on memory of the souls of the country’s  martyrs, followed by the Syrian Arab anthem.

Then, a report was presented on ASPU activities of the NUSS branch in various fields such as participation in the meetings of ASPU council, faculty councils, organizing conferences and activities, training courses, voluntary campaigns, recreational trips, and in solving students' problems.

 For his part , ASPU president  noted the importance of the conference in  discussing educational issues and addressing  problems and difficulties raised by the students' representatives in the university's branches.

 He, together with students representatives gave solutions to problems raised by students that serve the students and the university.

This conference was held in the  context of the  country’s celebrations of  March 8 revolution and its great victories against terrorism, thanks to the bravery and courage of our Syrian Arab army and the wise leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.

The conference concluded with elections for the leadership of ASPU branch of the NUSS,  under the supervision of its executive office and a supervisory committee.
