A delegation representing ASPU, headed by Dr. Yasser Hourieh, visited the Islamic Republic of Iran and during this visit several agreements  were with prominent Iranian universities as part of the scientific cooperation between ASPU  and other universities in all countries.

Dr. Hourieh  signed several memorandums for  scientific cooperation  between ASPU and  the University of Islamic Schools of Thought, Azad University in Tehran, and Firdausi  University in Mashhad.

The memorandums state  important exchange of visits of graduate students and faculty members, preparation of scientific journals and joint conferences and symposia between the two sides.

The delegation, on the other hand,  visited the Syrian ambassador in Tehran, and during the visit Dr. Hourieh  spoke about ASPU establishment, its  ongoing expansion and its joining  the global classification of world universities .
