ASPU, represented by its President , Dr. Yasser Hourieh, signed a cooperation agreement with SME, represented by its Director General, Mr. Ihab Ismandar, with the aim  to link the university with its educational and research activities and to encourage students  creativity and innovation, and  help them transform their creative ideas into their own small and medium enterprises.

The area  of cooperation included several programs, the rehabilitation and training of graduate students, masters students, doctoral students and entrepreneurs, providing them with skills and functional expertise, as well as the participation of SME in organizing and delivering a series of lectures on entrepreneurship in various ASPU faculties and departments.
