ASPU faculty of law students have discussed topics on criminal and international law and personal status law , in the context of the arbitration sessions for the graduation project for the academic year 2019-2020.
The debated topics centered on a suit invalidating , differentiating between spouses for the cause of discord and its rulings, and consequences of breaking of the engagement, and other family- related issues.
The students discussed the effectiveness of the Central Agency for Financial Supervision in Syria and the power of the administration in amending the administrative contract.
They debated a comparative study on the powers of the vice president, smoothness and integrity of the electoral process in Syria and the rights and guarantees of victims within the framework of the rules of international criminal law.
The Judging Committee commended the projects presented by the students and gave observations on the methodology and scope of the research, documentation of references, and clarity of terms and provision of statistical studies.
