A team of ASPU students of the Faculty of Informatics has been already qualified for the Syrian software competition which will be held at al-Baath University next September after winning the sixth competition of the country’s private universities and won the  first position among 16th  participating teams.

In a meeting attended by Dean of the Faculty of Information Engineering, and Head of the Information Unit at  the National Union of Syrian Students (NUSS) - ASPU branch, ASPU President Dr. Yasser Hourieh, commended the efforts made by  ASPU competition coordinator students and the participating volunteers, in solving programming issues and  problems  with needed  efficiency and speed.

He  listened to their suggestions after they had vowed to achieve the first rank in the Syrian Arab Republic, wishing them great success.
