Headed by ASPU President Dr. Sharif al-Ashkar, the University Council held its 64^th meeting on Monday, October 3 at al-Tal headquarters amphitheater.

The council members congratulated Dr. Dr. Asef Dayoub, for his nomination as dean of the Faculty of medicine, and Jassem Zakaria, as dean of the faculty of Law, and for joining the council membership following their appointment.  

In the name of the council, and his own, Dr. al-Ashkar honored Mrs. Farah Hassan, who works for the Human Resources Directorate, in appreciation of her efforts and outstanding performance at work.

Dr. al -Ashkar stressed the need of cooperation, coordination, making all necessary efforts, and preparing all requirements for the beginning of the new academic year 2022/2023, noting the university readiness to provide all facilities in order to reach the best results and meet students’ needs.

Then, Members of the council discussed topics listed on the meeting agenda and took appropriate decisions regarding them.
