Applications are submitted as of Sunday morning, October 2, 2022 and continue until three days after results of the central enrolment process are issued, taking into account holidays (Thursday and Friday). Students are received from nine in the morning until two in the afternoon in the cities of Damascus and Lattakia according to the schedule below:

General provisions

1- The student must read the announcement well before applying to the enrolment to know the requirements and conditions for admission.

2- The student chooses one of the two high school certificate courses (first or second cycle) for the 2022 academic year and previous school years.

3- The student submits his desires within one enrolment card, and the student is entitled to only two options, at most.

4- The student applies for only one high school certificate. In the event that the student submits more than one high school certificate, his enrolment preference is considered to be cancelled

5- The enrolment process is done on the basis of the total degrees of the Syrian secondary school certificate after folding the degree of religious education and one of the least foreign languages.

6- The student applies for this enrolment in person, or through his legal representative under a public or private agency. In the absence of the student, (father, mother, brother, sister, grandfather, grandmother, husband, wife) can apply on behalf of the student in the absence of a written authorization from the student.

 

A student who has a non-Syrian secondary certificate, in case he does not meet the previous item, can authorize any person residing in the Syrian Arab Republic and holding Syrian Arab nationality to apply in his stead under a written authorization that includes the personal data of both parties to the authorization (three names, national number, phone number / Mobile, the address of both parties of the authorization in Syria).

8- The student wishing to enroll must have achieved the minimum acceptance rates for the academic year 2022-2023.

 

Procedures for applying for a university admission enrolment process

1- The student applies in person or his legal representative (under a public or private authorization) and in the absence of the student, (father, mother, brother, sister, grandfather, grandmother, husband, wife) may apply on behalf of the student under a written authorization from the student.

2- The student who has a non-Syrian secondary certificate, in case he does not meet the previous item, he can authorize any person residing in the Syrian Arab Republic and possessing the Syrian Arab nationality to apply in his place under a written authorization that includes the personal data of the delegate (three names, The national number, the phone/mobile number, the authorized person address in Syria).

3- The student is allowed to write a maximum of two desires on the enrolment card, and one desire if he wants to enroll for one faculty only.

4- The student chooses the type of enrolment he wants to apply for according to the documents compatible with the declaration (resident Syrians, non-residents, Arabs and foreigners).

5- The student who was accepted as a result of the enrolment process is conditionally accepted until he completes the registration procedures (submission of the affiliation application, delivery of registration documents and payment of approved fees) within a week from the date of issuing the results of the process, and is considered objectionable after the specified period has elapsed.

 

Documents required to complete the registration procedure

The application for registration shall be accompanied by the following documents after payment of the required fees, and shall be delivered to the Admission and Registration Department at the university or faculty.

The Syrian secondary certificate

The non-Syrian secondary certificate

 

The original secondary school  certificate

The original secondary school certificate duly attested

Certified copies of the secondary certificate duly attested, (5) copies

 

Certified copies of the secondary certificate, including the grades of the study subjects, duly attested, (5) copies.

 

A copy of the identity card of the Syrian student

A study sequence for grades (the ninth, tenth, eleventh) duly attested, including the grades of the study subjects, duly attested, (5) copies.

 

A copy of the passport for the non-Syrian student

The preparatory school certificate duly attested, and certified, 5 copies.

Colored personal photos (3 x 4 cm) 5 photos

A copy of the identity card of the Syrian student.

A copy of the passport for the non-Syrian student.

(5) colored personal photos (3 x 4 cm)

 

 

A book of the equivalency of the secondary certificate from the Ministry of Education of the granting country, duly certified (for the American-British curricula) with 5 certified copies.

A high school certificate or diploma, certified and translated duly, and (5) certified copies of copies.
