In cooperation ASPU, Cemtech Limited held a seminar on the cement business forum in Syria in the presence of Dr. Yasser Houriya, to ensure  job opportunities for university graduates.

The seminar included a definition of the types of cement produced in Syria, the stages of the manufacturing process and requirements for the advancement of this industry in the next stage.

General Manager of Cemtech Cement Company Gabriel Ashhab, introduced the company which was established in 2017 with the aim of providing all services relating  to quarries and mines of all kinds and the company fleet of heavy equipment and machinery under the supervision of a team of specialists in the field of mining in order to operate and maintain production lines.

He pointed out that the next forum will discuss important and sensitive topics regarding the development of the cement sector in Syria, with an  agenda  of presentations of participating  international companies and bilateral meetings in addition to discussing factors that contribute to the development of this industry in Syria.

For their part, ASPU  Faculty of Administrative Sciences members  presented several  proposals that enrich  topics of the forum, such as discussing the management of cement facilities, manufacturing and marketing costs, criteria for attracting investors to invest in the cement field and the quality of the manufacturing process in order to attain  effective competition , as well as to disseminate  awareness concerning  cost management and providing authentic  information regarding the cement sector.
