Under the patronage of  Dr. Mohammed Sheritah Secretary of the  Baath Party branch in Lattakia, ASPU has participated  in the scientific conference organized by the Dentists Union,  in cooperation with its branches in Tartous and Hama, the Directorate of Health and Tishreen University.

Dr. Shreitah stressed the importance of this conference in parallel with the victories attained by  our valiant army against  terrorism, pointing out that the leading skills and values ??of  dentists are a source of pride to our beloved country.

 He added that Syria is on the verge of new achievements at all levels, military, political, economic, social and scientific, pointing out that today we are stronger than ever and we will always be victorious.

 For his part, Dr. Hamoud Ghazal, Director of Lattakia faculties of ASPU , described  the conference  as very important in terms of exchanging scientific experiences among  universities and branches of the Syrian Dental Association, noting the necessity of continuing such scientific activities at the local, Arab and  international level.

On ASPU  participation in the conference  Dr. Ghazal pointed out that the university in its continuous quest for scientific progress and development, is participating in the conference to learn about what is new in dentistry in terms of scientific research and advanced laboratories to develop practical experiments and graduate doctors with high skills.

In turn, dean of the faculty of dentistry in the faculties of Lattakia, Dr. Mahmoud Mahmoud, said that ASPU participation  in the conference is of great importance in three aspects, the first is  to get the faculty acquainted with  modern technologies and how to treat certain  clinical cases, in addition to keep up with the new teaching staff of research and exchange of experiences with other university cadres in Syria and abroad. He continued  that the third aspect is that the conference allows parents to learn about the university and the possibilities available to study in all faculties, including the Faculty of Dentistry.

President of Lattakia Dentists Union, Dr. Tariq Abdullah, stressed that ASPU participation in the conference is very important, adding that the partnership between universities, branches of the dentistry union and Lattakia Directorate of Health establishes a platform for the development of science among dentists , in general.
