ASPU  in cooperation with Tishreen University has participated in al-Basel exhibition for creativity and invention through a device called "APO" designed by students Abdul Karim Haj Ali and Salman Mohammed from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at  Tishreen  University of Tishreen. The invention was supervised by  Dr. Faten Shoman and Dr. Reem Harfoush of  ASPU  .

The device works to monitor the vital signs of the patient such as temperature, heartbeat and oxygenation . It  injects the desired drug intravenously as recommended by the doctor and keeps the doctor informed of the patient's condition through an application on the phone.

Al-Basel Exhibition for Creativity and Invention, which was  opened on August 31st , included 387 inventions  by  827 participants from public and private universities, the Ministry of Education, the  Revolution Youth  Union (RYU)  the Vanguard Union, the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority, the Agricultural Research Authority and the Inventors Association, besides, medical, agricultural  researches  and others on  Industrial environment and technical fields.
