With the participation ASPU, Lattakia’s Pharmacists Union held its 4^th scientific conference under the patronage of the Governor of Lattakia,  in Lamira Hotel.

The conference was attended by  the Secretary of the Baath Party branch Dr. Mohammed_Shreitah and the Secretary of the Baath Party  branch of Tishreen University  and head of Syria’s pharmacists Union Dr. Wafa keishi who stressed  the  conference scientific importance  and the exchange of experiences in pharmaceutical sciences.

Keishi  pointed out to the important role of pharmacists in the economic development in the next phase in our country, stressing that  Syrian pharmacists have pledged  President Bashar al-Assad that they will be the country’s  loyal soldiers forever.

President of Lattakia Pharmacists  Union  Mahmoud_Shabar said that ASPU  participation in the conference  is very important in terms of exchanging experiences between universities, and  in acquiring modern information among pharmacists at the country’s  level.

During his visit to ASPU pavilion, Shabar stressed that such scientific meetings allow participants to know about latest scientific researches  in pharmacy science by highlighting progress attained in  pharmaceutical sciences.

In his inaugural to the conference, the Governor of Lattakia  Ibrahim,_Khoder al-Salem stressed the interest of the government and the union  in boosting  the pharmaceutical sector, pointing  that many pharmaceutical companies and their laboratories  have resumed  production in order to provide good local medicine at a suitable  price.

Worthy mentioning , ASPU Pavilion witnessed a huge turnout of visitors and participants  who  inquired about services provided by the University at the faculty  of Pharmacy and other  newly opened  faculties.
