ASPU President Dr. Sharif al-Ashkar received a delegation of professors representing the Italian universities of (Trento - La Sapienza - Pescara - Campania).

Talks during the meeting dealt with means of developing the relationship between ASPU and the said Italian universities for the benefit of the two countries, finalizing agreements in all scientific fields, and exchanging visits for faculty members and students.

Following a tour on the university premises, members of the visiting delegation commended the efforts made by the university to provide necessary services to students and staff alongside with the university's reputation and prestigious position.
