Chaired by its President Dr. Sharif al-Ashkar, ASPU held its 65^th session on November 7^th, in the presence of its members at the university medical faculties in al-Tal Premises.

The inauguration process was marked by honoring former deans of the faculties of medicine law, Dr. Hossam Al-Shibli, Dr. Ammar Al-Terkawi, respectively for their efforts during their tenure as deanship of the two faculties.

Also honored was university staff member Jaber Muhammad, who works at the faculty of Informatics Engineering, his distinguished efforts at work

Dr. al-Ashkar and the attendees were briefed on what has been accomplished since the beginning of the academic year to the present, and hindering difficulties and obstacles so as to ensure optimal solutions to them.

The university president stressed the need to secure the teaching process requirements in all faculties, to make all efforts to attain maximum benefits, and the need to adhere to work hours, noting the university administration's readiness to secure all the faculties' needs in all fields.

He also stressed the need of collective efforts as a beehive, each partner with his own role to have a nucleus in all related sciences.
