ASPU President Dr. Yasser Hourieh, has stressed the importance of efforts to continuously improve the level of the university performance to have it as a model for universities in Syria.

 During his meeting with the deans and administrative staff in Lattakia faculties, in the presence of director of faculties Dr. Hammoud Ghazal, Dr. Hourieh pointed out the need to work within the one-team spirit to ensure success for the university as an institution where everyone succeeds, noting  that the university offers a different model of management and performance in the context of competition with public and private universities on Local and global levels

“ Thanks to its distinguished performance , ASPU is the first among private universities in Syria  in terms of the number of students (5 thousand students)” , Dr. Hourieh said describing such performance as  an achievement , which makes us feel proud and puts us before  new tasks , as part of   the aspirations to raise the level of performance for the optimum .

He noted the most important decisions taken during  the recent meeting of the university  Board of Trustees, pointing to the Council's appreciation of the efforts of university employees, as manifested in the  positive results and data, evaluation of work and administrative performance and  reflected  on the university's reputation in the Syrian society.

Dr. Hourieh, on the other hand, inspected the expansion project in Lattakia’s faculties , and indicated the progress in work stages so that the new project would be an important indication of urban development at the university in  Damascus and Lattakia campuses,  alike.
