ASPU President Dr. Yasser Hourieh, has discussed with Dr. Hashem Marzouk al-Shummari, the regional cultural advisor to the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Damascus , scientific cooperation between ASPU and Iraqi universities in the field of student exchange and sending students to study at ASPU.

Dr. Hourieh gave a detailed explanation of the university in terms of number of students, graduates, installments and practical training provided by the university, the level of education, the promotion  system, and ASPU adopted evaluation and measurement methods.

For his part, , al-Shummari commended ASPU  administration and its academic excellence, praising its  high educational level that combines theoretical and scientific expertise provided to its  students, stressing the importance of bilateral cooperation in all fields.
