Marking  February, the month for raising awareness of childhood cancer, ASPU students of the faculties of medicine and Pharmacy have efficiently participated in the effectiveness of psychological support for cancer children in al-Biruni hospital in Damascus.

The event, which was held under the patronage ASPU President Dr. Yasser Hourieh, was attended by Dr. Hossam Shibli, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Faiyza Kebili, Dean of the faculty of Pharmacy and Dr, Ghina Nagati mental health supervisor.

It   included recreational activities and psychological support sessions for hospital children and their families in addition to entertainment competitions and prizes for hospital children to raise their spirits and enhance the sense of accomplishment in them.
