ASPU President Dr.  Yasser Hourieh has opened the virtual pharmacy at the faculty of pharmacy in al-Tel, as the first at the level of universities in Syria , in the sense that it qualifies the student to balance between the theoretical and practical  sides of study while he is at the university.

Dr. Hourieh stressed the importance of this project in saving  student time and effort and enabling him to deal with various pharmaceutical programs , simultaneously.

The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Faiyza al-Qubaili, stressed the  faculty of Pharmacy efforts  to meet goals of its establishment in serving  the interests of students, indicating that the faculty  offers students best levels of academic education.

Secretary of the Pharmacists Union Ziad Mazloum, noted  ASPU  care to meet  the needs of students and its keenness to qualify them through training  in pharmacies and in the public and private sectors, stressing the faculty progressive vision which seeks to develop continuous learning .

On the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony , Dr. Randa Abu Tara gave a lecture on the saffron plant and its healing properties and the importance of investing it  locally to benefit from its curative and preventive properties in  treating  incurable diseases.
