Pursuant to the Syrian Cabinet Decision that all public entities in the country are locked down on the occasion of Martyrs' Day, ASPU was  locked down  on Wednesday and Thursday, May 6 and 7, 2020.

On this occasion,  ASPU President Dr. Yasser Hourieh, on behalf of university ‘s members of the educational and administrative bodies, workers, and students have  greeted  martyrs of the Syrian Arab Army and our beloved Syria, who sacrificed  their lives in defense  of the noble cause of safeguarding the  homeland  , appealing the God Almighty for the  security and ultimate victory to President Bashar al-Assad .
