ASPU President  Dr. Yasser Hourieh, has  met  via the Internet network  with university  deans of faculties , their deputies, and directors of directorates at in Damascus and Lattakia campuses.

Participants in the  meeting discussed measures taken  by the university to withstand  threat of the Corona virus , including sterilization of  all university buildings in Damascus and Lattakia, providing sterilization materials for  the university students and employees, and introducing new software to develop the information system at the university.

The participants  recommended to continue uploading  lectures to students of all  faculties and specialties on the university’s website and discuss  future plans and scenarios that take into account compensation of the  educational losses for students  as well as the  practical sessions , and  displacing the university calendar until  May and June with an equivalent quarantine period.

 Dr. Hourieh extended best wishes for the good health of the university  students and employees
