ASPU  President Dr. Yasser Hourieh, held  an inspection tour on the faculties of Lattakia accompanied by faculties supervisor Dr. Issam Daly, faculties director , Dr. Hammoud Ghazal, and ASPU director of public relations and media Khaled Dakouri, during which they were acquainted  faculties ' preparations to receive their students after the quarantine period .

Dr. Hourieh  stressed  adherence to public health and safety measures to prevent corona virus. The measures  include the use of masks and sterilization tools in faculties  classrooms, scientific laboratories and dental clinics.

For his part, Dr. Ghazal Latakia faculties  readiness to receive students back as from May 31,  according to the preventive procedures, indicating that explanatory wall stickers have been placed on how to prevent and sterilize and ensure space distancing  between students, in addition to sterilizing all faculty  facilities and installing a sterilization device at the faculty entrance for measuring the temperature of each student upon entering the university and ensuring wearing  a medical mask.

The tour also included a visit to the expansion project of Lattakia faculties  and supervision of the  sterilization campaign that covered  all departments, offices, laboratories, classrooms and facilities in Lattakia faculties.
