New Informatics Systems for Lattakia Faculties

The Informatics Department of Lattakia  Faculties met with the faculty staff to introduce new informatics systems with the aim to accelerate work procedures in the faculties across the web.

Eng. Mohsen Issa gave a presentation on the questionnaire system and job applications, noting that the use of electronic forms in job applications, directly  through the website  compensate for  the use of paper.

Issa added that the electronic questionnaire and its analysis are carried out with statistics that give a final result to be studied according to each questionnaire and printed on paper when necessary, pointing to the possibility of expanding electronic forms according to the requirements of all university departments.

For her part, Eng. Nour Nashawi, presented a system for automating maintenance requests (technical and engineering) according to the form approved by the Quality Directorate . The system enables the arrangement of problems and employee requests according to priority to solve and address them through the relevant department, whether engineering or technical, maintenance matters, etc., via computer and mobile phone.

Nashawi added that the automated work is beneficial to the university and facilitates the delivery and documentation of employee requests directly, as it allows the university administration to track the work of the requests of each employee and the party that implemented the request or the problem addressed to it for processing,  as well as results of work evaluation  in engineering and informatics  departments.
