ASPU is an  educational institution that has been supervised by the Ministry of Higher Education in the Syrian Arab Republic. Therefore, its internal system, study plans, and graduation  certificates are  approved and accredited   by the Ministry of Higher Education.

ASPU  grants its graduates a bachelor's degree in the  relevant specialization, which is academically equivalent to the certificates granted by the Syrian public universities.

Certificates  and documents of ASPU  students are certified by the Ministry of Higher Education in Syria, and thus their certificates and documents are regionally and internationally recognized, and the university applies all the scientific accreditation rules issued under Decision / 31 / dated  21/11/2007 by the Ministry of Higher Education and its amendments, thereby ASPU is officially accredited  at the local and international levels.

Moreover, ASPU  has become a member of the Association of Arab Universities , the Association of International Universities and the Federation of Mediterranean Universities , thanks to its achievement in meeting  quality standards required in higher education . It  has obtained the ISO 9001 certificate, which qualifies it to be definitely one of the accredited and prestigious universities.
