Faculty of Law Students Focused on Criminal Law & the international law in their Summer Semester Graduation Projects

In culmination of what they had learned during the years of study at ASPU, students of the faculty of law presented in their graduation projects,

topics on  a comparative study on the jurisdiction of implementation between Syrian and Lebanese law, the legal nature of the decision of precautionary detention, and the filing of a personal right lawsuit before the criminal court.

The students also discussed the criminal policy of the Syrian legislator concerning crimes of defamation, the legal defense, the legal framing of the general amnesty and the criminal policy of the Syrian legislator in the crimes of intended killing.

In international law, the debated topics included:  future of Syrian refugees in neighboring countries, the deal of the century, the future of the Palestinian state, the judicial immunity of the diplomatic envoy, and international protection of the environment.
