ASPU former President Dr. Yasser Hourieh Dr. Yasser Hourieh and university deans and directors on Saturday welcomed Dr. Sharif al-Ashkar, new President of Al-Sham Private University, and congratulated him on the occasion of assuming his duties as  ASPU new president,  wishing him great success.

Dr. Hourieh introduced to Dr. al-Ashkar, the university various directorates and deans, highlighting the achievements made during previous years, the quality system and projects ASPU is planning to implement in future.

For his part, Dr. al-Ashkar thanked Dr. Hourieh for the efforts he made during past years to improve the university’s work so as to occupy a prestigious position among universities locally and internationally, stressing continued efforts within this approach, noting that greater attention to be given to students, the National Union of Syrian Students NUSS, and utmost care for the children of the country’s martyrs.
