ASPU President Dr. Sharif Al-Ashkar, and Damascus University president Dr. Muhammad Yasar Abdeen have signed an agreement for scientific cooperation, with the aim of supporting and developing joint cooperation in the fields of training, knowledge dissemination and scientific research between the two universities and clinical training for students of ASPU Faculty of Human Medicine at Damascus University Hospitals.

The agreement which was co-signed at ASPU headquarters of the Faculty of Medicine at al-Tal campus stated the exchange of visits between representatives and faculty members of the two universities with the aim of exchanging delivered lectures, training, information and experiences in the field of higher education.

The agreement also stated cooperation between faculty members in the two universities to conduct joint research and mutual cooperation in the field of training for students in laboratories.
