Faculty of Administrative Sciences Key Graduation Theses on Accounting

Important themes on accounting were tackled by students of administrative sciences faculty  before the jury for the first semester of 2020-2021 academic year.

In their theses, the students talked the reflection of profit management practices on the performance of companies listed on the Damascus Stock Exchange, the impact of exchange rate on the quality of accounting profits, the role of tax justice in reducing tax evasion, corporate governance and its role in improving the quality of accounting information in the Damascus Stock Exchange.

The graduation theses also dealt  with the role of business risks in determining audit fees, the role of audit committees in limiting profit management practices, and the role of micro and small finance institutions in the economic development process (in the post-war phase in Syria).

In their discussions with members of the jury committee, the students showed full understanding of the topics with their own efforts, supervised by their professors  and the information they acquired during their academic years.

Members of the jury commended performance  of the students ,  who were given    excellent grades, wishing them success in their working life.
