ASPU ranked 14th locally according to results of the semi-annual webometrics rankings for July 2021, one degree ahead of the previous classification.

The university's global ranking also increased by 4234 ranks.

Webometrics World University Assessment is the largest global university assessment system, which aims at improving the online presence of higher education and scientific research institutions and encouraging the publication of peer-reviewed scholarly articles. It is also a semi-annual evaluation based on measuring the performance of universities via their websites, according to criteria of size, reference to research, and the general effect.
