Headed by Dr. Muhammad Ghazi Al-Jalali, ASPU chairman of the Board of Trustees and the presence of council deputy chairman Dr. Essam Al-Dali, ASPU President Dr. Sharif Al-Ashkar, members of the Board of Trustees, including Dr. Faeq Shadoud, Dr. Mirna Dlala, Dr. Muhammad Yasar Abdeen, and Dr. Issa Makhoul, a meeting was held for ASPU Board of trustees at the university’s headquarters in al-Baramkeh.

Participants in the meeting discussed decisions adopted by the Higher Education and Scientific Research Council, including number of students to be registered in private universities for the academic year 2021/2022, and the minimum fee for credit hours in private universities for new and registered students, starting as from 2021/2022 school year.

Also discussed were admission of new students in accordance with governing conditions and instructions issued by the higher education and scientific research council and the ministerial instructions, the proposals of the university presidency provided for determining credit hours fees for the academic year 2021/2022 and the draft current and investment budget for the current  academic year.
