ASPU President Dr. Sharif Al-Ashkar, has presided over a meeting with members of the University Council, at its headquarters in Baramkeh.

In an inaugural speech, Al-Ashkar, stressed the importance of developing the teaching process a scientific research plan for each of the university’s faculties.

Dr. al-Ashkar also   stressed the importance of improving equipment provided for the, especially in the medical faculties and the faculty of pharmacy, in order to contribute to the development of the educational process.

Members of the council discussed procedures that must be taken during the final exam period, in terms of timing, sample questions and exam duration.

They stressed the need of intensifying conferences and workshops for all university faculties, and the importance of academic supervision and close follow-up of students by the teaching staff.
