Under the patronage of ASPU President. Dr. Sharif Al-Ashkar, and the supervision of Dr. Hazem Sawaf, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and Dr. Rania Othman, Vice Dean of the Faculty, and in cooperation with the Elissar Foundation for the Treatment and Support of Children with Cancer, a voluntary event was held in the Faculty of Dentistry within the framework of the university’s social responsibility. During the event, dental treatment was provided for children with cancer and their families, at the university's headquarters in Mazraa.

With the follow-up of Dr. Ghani Najati, ASPU faculty member Dr. Shaza Qoshaji, Children’s Course Teacher, Dr. Enas Marwan Al-Hallaq, and Dr. Rama Imad Makiya, tests were conducted for children with cancer and their families, treatment plans were developed, and future appointments were set for them to eliminate the diagnosed problems.

The event was prepared by the Deanship of the Faculty of Dentistry, with the aim to support its mission of linking ASPU students with society and the theoretical side with the practical side, with the aim of graduating distinguished doctors who are able to provide the highest levels of care and treatment in their practical career.
