ASPU- Azad University of Iran Co-Signed Cooperation Agreement Executive Program

ASPU President Dr. Sharif Al-Ashkar, Muhammad Jawad Sadri Mehr, Director General of Science and Technology Incubators at the Islamic Azad University of Iran, have co-signed the executive program for the memorandum of understanding concluded earlier between Islamic Azad University and ASPU, at the university’s headquarters in Baramkeh.

In an inaugural speech, Dr. Sharif Al-Ashkar thanked the Iranian delegation for visiting Syria, and expressed appreciation and happiness for choosing ASPU as a scientific partner and for their confidence entrusted in ASPU.

Mr. Mehr expressed happiness for visiting Syria, and admiration for ASPU headquarters, equipment and distinguished potentials, hoping that the agreed upon executive program will be implemented in an optimal manner according to the set timetable.

The executive program states the exchange of students between the two universities, the establishment of short-term specialized courses and full-time research, and the running of the joint development center, so as to contribute to raising the scientific the two universities scientific performance, enhancing students' experiences and increasing their educational attainment.

By signing the program, the importance of cooperation between the two universities in all cultural and scientific fields and the consolidation of friendship has been emphasized.

The executive program signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Al-Ashkar, Mr Mehr, Dr. Rania Al-Zarir, ASPU vice President for Administrative and Student Affairs, Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Dr. Ammar Terkawi, Dean of ASPU Faculty of Law, Dr. Khaled Al-Homsi, ASPU vice President for Scientific Research, University secretary Khaled Najati, Salim Darwish Ali, Head of the Informatics Department, and Khalid Daqouri, ASPU Director of Public Relations and Media.
