Under the supervision of ASPU president Dr. Sharif Al-Ashkar, and in the context of continuous endeavor of the Faculty of Pharmacy to develop its research in medicines and pharmaceutical industries, faculty deanship made a scientific visit to Diamond Pharma factory, as one of the Syrian leading companies in pharmaceutical industries in order to get acquainted with the factory’s divisions and production lines.

The visit was headed by faculty dean Dr.  Faiyza Al-Qubili, faculty scientific and administrative representatives, Dr. Basil Hussein and Dr. Wael Al-Agwani, respectively and its scientific departments heads.

Factory marketing director Dr. Mahmoud Sharbaji, gave detailed explanation about stages of production process, noting the reality of the pharmaceutical industry in Syria, especially after the appearance of the Corona virus.
