Under the patronage of ASPU President Dr. Sharif Al-Ashkar, and the supervision of Dr. Hazem Al-Sawaf, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Al-Ashkar has opened the Faculty of Dentistry scientific day.

 In an inaugural speech, Dr. al-Ashkar  welcomed the attendees , wishing them  to benefit the outcomes of this scientific activity , being  the first scientific activity marking the  new year 2022 and the  implications  of this event on the faculty of  dentistry and its students.

 He, in particular, thanked Dr. Talal Al-Nahlawi for his remarkable participation in the scientific day, the faculty staff for their efforts to make this day a success, noting ASPU attained progress despite the circumstances   the country has been experiencing, in that it is one of the distinguished and prestigious universities in Syria.

For his part, Dr. al-Sawaf noted the development of dentistry, especially in interacting with nano-technology and its use in surgery. Also noted was the world overall development in restorative and cosmetic treatments in dental sciences.
