Under the patronage of ASPU President Dr. Sharif al-Ashkar, and the presence of Dean of the Faculty of Informatics Engineering Dr. Iyad al-Khayyat, several faculty professors and students, and interested researchers, the Faculty of Informatics Engineering, in cooperation with the university branch of the NUSS, held a seminar entitled "Cosmic Disasters", read by Eng. Fayez Fouk al-Adeh ,  head of the Syrian cosmic Society.

The seminar spoke about cosmic and the lecturer answered questions and inquiries put by the students.
