Under the patronage of ASPU President  Dr. Sharif Al-Ashkar,  and the supervision of Dr. Ammar al-Terkawi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Dr. Badi’ Misto, Vice Dean of the Faculty, law students have visited  the State Council, where they had an  overview of the State Council.

Then a lecture was given by Dr. Ammar Marshaha on the formation of the State Council, its competencies, and how to issue and appeal judgments.

The students listened to a sentencing session at the Supreme Administrative Court, headed by Dr. Aref Ibrahim, Vice-President of the State Council.

At the end of their tour, the students visited the disciplinary court in Damascus, headed by Judge Firas Muqtran, who gave a full explanation about the formation of disciplinary courts, their jurisdiction and how to refer to them.

ASPU administration and the Deanship of the Faculty of Law extend their thanks and appreciation to Judge Abdel Nasser Al-Delli and all judges in the State Council for the warm reception and wish the Syrian State Council continued progress and prosperity.
