ASPU President Dr. Sharif  al- Ashkar has  opened  in Lattakia  the second part of   faculty of dentistry 2nd  international conference under the title (Towards Creativity and Proficiency in Dentistry), and stressed the importance of  universities as pivotal academic social noted that that knowledge is employed to meet the  requirements of society .

Head of ASPU branch of the NUSS Majd Al-Hamad, described the conference as a great opportunity for students to learn from the experiences of the scholars.
The conference was attended by Dr. Hammoud Ghazal, Director of Latakia Faculties, Dr. Amir Ismail, representative of the Governor of Latakia, Tayseer Habib, Chairman of Latakia Governorate Council, Major Dima Salama, representing Latakia Governorate Police Commander, Abdul Hassan Shrouf, representing the Director of Latakia Health, Dr. Mahmoud Shabar, and several faculty and administrative staff, as well as participants from Arab countries.
