ASPU President Dr. Sharif Al-Ashkar, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Majed Development Foundation Dr. Majid Al-Rakbi, have signed a memorandum of understanding for qualifying and training students, consolidating their voluntary thinking, developing their practical skills so as to enable them engage in the labor market, and promote joint work between the two sides and the exchange of joint academic, applied, professional and advisory experiences.

The memorandum provides for conducting training courses for students and linking them to the labor market in order to raise their educational level and their scientific and practical efficiency.

The signing ceremony was attended by ASPU vice president for students and administrative affairs Dr.  Rania Al-Zarir, Dr. Fayza Qubeli, Dean of the faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Anwar Al-Hasani, Vice Dean of the faculty of Medicine for Scientific Affairs,  the university secretary  Khaled Najati, and chairman of ASPU branch of the NUSS  Majd al-Hamad , as well as several concerned  university  and foundation’s staffs and professors .
