ASPU chairman of the Board of Trustees Dr. Muhammad Ghazi Al-Jalali, presided over a meeting a meeting of the University’s Board of Trustees. The meeting was attended by Dr. Essam Al-Dali, council’s vice president , ASPU President Dr. Sharif Al-Ashkar, and members of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Faiq Shadoud, Dr. Mirna Dlala, Dr. Muhammad Yasar Abdeen, Dr. Muhammad Ezzat Arabi Katbi, Dr. Issa al-Makhoul, and  council secretary Dr. Maher al-Kurdi.

Participants in the meeting discussed the decisions taken at their previous 26^th meeting, besides topics presented by Dr. Al-Ashkar, including preparations for the final exam of the second semester for the academic year 2021/2022. Also discussed were a report on the university’s activities during the academic year 2020/2021.

The participants also noted the most important decisions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research during the current year 2022, and certain university's presidency proposals aimed at raising the educational level.
