Based on the mutual desire to enhance scientific and cultural cooperation between ASPU and the Russian Cultural Center in Damascus, ASPU President Dr. Sharif al-Ashkar, Director of the Russian Cultural Center in Damascus Nikolai Sokhov have signed a memorandum of understanding.

The signing ceremony  was attended by ASPU vice President Dr. Rania Zareer, Dr. Ammar al-Terkawi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Dr. Badi’ Misto, Secretary of the Party Division at the University, Colleague Majd al-Hamad Head of the NUSS university branch and Colleague Qais al-Kafri.

The memorandum of understanding  stated  support of  joint cooperation between the two sides  in the fields of research, training and development, and to carry out educational and research cooperation activities in order to serve bilateral interests, and to expand and enhance common interests.
