Under the patronage of ASPU President Dr. Sharif Al-Ashkar, Lattakia Faculty of Law, in cooperation with the university NUSS branch of the National Union of Syrian Students, held a scientific field tour to the central prison for faculty students. The visit was made under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Mudar Zairbani, professor of criminal law, and the students were accompanied by the prison director, Dia eddine Hassan Al-Reem. The students learned about the prison departments, the working mechanism of the procedures followed in prisons and trial methods, in addition to the activities carried out by the prisoners.

This trip was based on the university's efforts to qualify its students and provide them with scientific and practical experience.
