Under the patronage of ASPU President Dr. Sharif Al-Ashkar, the supervision of the Dean of the faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Fayza Al-Qabili, the participation of the Hematology and Immunology professor Dr. Ramah Ba’aj, and the invitation of Dr. Alia Al-Assad, Director of the Blood Bank, the faculty of pharmacy held a scientific trip for the hematology students to the blood bank.

The students were introduced to the various sections of the bank and its work mechanism, starting as from blood collection, separation, preservation, selective and donation of apheresis and therapeutic blood. The aim has been applying the theoretical aspect of the hematology and immunology course and consolidating it by revealing its applications and practical benefits.

ASPU administration extends thanks to sides that have contributed to the success of this scientific activity, including the blood bank staff.
