Under the patronage of ASPU president Dr. Sharif Al-Ashkar, Lattakia faculty of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the university National Union of Syrian Students (NUSS), held a scientific lecture entitled "Psychological & Physical Disorders Following the Earthquake" read by Dr. Mona Laila.

The ceremony held for this purpose was attended by university deans of faculties, professors and interested students and invitees.

Dr. Laila lecture focused on the effects of all physical aspects, especially the sensory ones (sight - sound - smell - touch), which are among the most important causes of anxiety, besides matters relating to sleep disorders, cases of anger, agitation and dizziness that afflict certain people.

She talked about the necessary treatments for these phenomena, being psychological or pharmacological.
