As part of efforts to strengthen collaboration between higher education institutions and entrepreneurial communities, Al-Sham Private University welcomed a high-level delegation from the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF), led by Mr. Bebars Altatoss, Chief Executive Officer of the Forum, and Senator Huthaifa Fares.
During the visit, the delegation held a meeting with the Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Mohammad Nihad Kourdieh, and some members of the Board of Trustees, where they discussed ways of joint cooperation between the Forum and the University, and discussed the possibility of giving university students opportunities to attend workshops and training courses within the Forum’s School of Business, which would contribute to developing their entrepreneurial skills and enabling them to enter the labor market efficiently and professionally.
The two sides also discussed the importance of launching joint projects in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation, and youth investment, strengthening the university’s role as an active institution supporting the national economy and encouraging creative youth initiatives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties emphasized the importance of establishing a joint committee composed of representatives from the University and the Forum to coordinate upcoming cooperation steps and to develop an implementation plan that ensures the achievement of shared objectives and continuous communication between the two institutions.
This visit reflects Al-Sham Private University’s commitment to openness toward economic and developmental initiatives and its dedication to providing an educational environment aligned with labor market needs and the demands of modern times.
