Universities classification system "AD Scientific Index" for 2023 was recently published. The system adopts the development of the university classification methodology with the principle of including distinguished researchers based on the sum of the h-index results of the Google Scholar Program.

This report reveals the efficiency of institutions in attracting outstanding researchers and the ability of institutions to encourage progress and retain scientists.

The link Syria Top Universities in 2023 (adscientificindex.com) shows that ASPU  has reached the third rank among Syrian universities following  Tishreen and Damascus Universities based on the number of citations of researchers  working for  the university for 2023 at the level of the H-Index for the researcher.
