Under the patronage of ASPU President Dr. Sharif al-Ashkar, the university Faculty of Dentistry in cooperation with the National Union of Syrian Students (NUSS), held a scientific day entitled "Digital Dentistry".

In an inaugural speech, Dr. al-Ashkar   thanked the attendees for their interest, stressing the importance of scientific days for the valuable benefit they provide to doctors and students, and readiness to use all capabilities for the sake of scientific research and to provide everything possible to serve the university and the homeland.

Dean of the faculty Dr. Hazem al-Sawaf, stressed the  university presidency provides  all possible  capabilities to students, adding  that these scientific days are designed to help learning about the latest sciences that are of interest to the participants, dentists and students.

The opening ceremony was attended by al-Sawaf, who is also Head of the Damascus Countryside Branch of the dentists union in Syria, Dr. Mazen Ali Musa, the two deputy deans and several deans of the university’s faculties, professors, doctors and students, and the sponsor of the event was Ebdaa “creativity” Company for Engineering Development.
