Represented by Dr. Yasser Hourieh , ASPU has participated in the 22nd conference of the Arab Faculties of Pharmacy Scientific Association, held at Damascus University Faculty of Pharmacy , in a special pavilion held on the sidelines of the conference and a lecture by Professor Faiyza Kubaili, dean of the faculty of Pharmacy, entitled ” Interferences of medicine with the clinical laboratory product” .
In an inaugural speech, Dr. Jamila Hassyan, Secretary-General of the Scientific Society of the Faculties of Pharmacy in the Arab World, stressed the importance of holding this conference in Damascus, noting the importance of Syrian universities continued educational mission, under the most difficult circumstances.
President of Damascus University and representative of the Minister of Higher Education, the conference's sponsor, Dr. Muhammad Maher Kabakibi, said that Syria has always been the meeting place that brings Arabs together , pointing to the great efforts made by the faculties of Pharmacy in developing scientific research and providing pharmaceutical experience to solve social problems.
The conference, which was attended by pharmacists from Egypt, Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Libya, Iraq and Yemen, included scientific sessions with titles on the pharmaceutical industry, pharmaceutical research and clinical pharmacy.
